January 11-18 was an eventful week with salt encrusted pros mixed in with rookies.  Both had equal success on the flats with the permit.  Everyone in the group landed palometa including a total of 8 piled up by Jason Franklin and Greg Vincent from H2o Bonefishing.  Jason and Greg run an incredible program on the flats of Grand Bahama – and mopped the floor taking advantage of nice conditions and plentiful fish around.

Rookie of the year award so far goes to youngster Max Godvin, who parachuted in for a few days with his dad, Mark.  Max managed to land his first ever saltwater fish on any kind on the fly – and what do you know it was a more than respectable 10-12 pound permit!  Just one of many first permit to be taken at the Palometa Club this season!

Jason Franklin from H20 Bonefishing and Ascension Bay Slabbage.

Doble #1.

Doble #2. Palmetito Style.
